Aerotek in Troy, AL is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, align, troubleshoot, and repair heavy industrial equipment, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and cranes. This contract-to-hire role requires light travel and work at heights, outdoors and indoors, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a millwright in industrial or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Hands-on experience installing, aligning, and troubleshooting heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience inspecting and maintaining overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Install, align, and commission heavy industrial equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and related systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs on machinery across multiple job sites indoors and outdoors.
• Use hand/power tools and rigging gear to complete installations accurately.
• Read blueprints and drawings to plan mechanical work and installations.
• Apply hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge to diagnose and repair issues.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and fall protection on all sites.
• Travel to various job sites to provide mechanical support and repairs.
• Coordinate with project teams to meet schedules and quality standards.
