Job summary

Aerotek is seeking experienced Millwrights for a major industrial construction project near Phoenix, AZ. You will install, align, and commission industrial machinery and tanks, performing precise leveling and rigging on large equipment within a safety-conscious team.

The role requires 5+ years of Millwright experience, strong rigging skills, and the ability to work at heights. Per diem and fringe pay are offered, with potential for a permanent position based on performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Millwright experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or mechanical environments.
• Proven experience installing and aligning industrial equipment, machinery, and tanks.
• Strong rigging experience and ability to safely handle large machinery and heavy components.
• Working knowledge of precision alignment, anchoring, and equipment setup procedures.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Basic welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission industrial machinery, tanks, and mechanical systems.
• Precisely level, align, and anchor equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform rigging operations to safely move, position, and secure heavy machinery and components.
• Interpret blueprints, layouts, and installation plans to ensure accurate equipment placement.
• Assist with mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
• Support welding and fabrication activities related to equipment installation.
• Conduct inspections and final checks to verify operational readiness and proper alignment.
• Collaborate with fellow tradesmen, contractors, and project leaders to keep work on schedule.
• Work safely in an active industrial construction environment, including elevated work areas.
• Utilize personal tools and industry best practices to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
