Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Industrial Millwrights for the Dudley, NC plywood mill. This highly skilled hourly role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and pays starting at $28 per hour based on experience. Shifts include weekends and holidays with day or night options.

Location: 139 Brewington Drive, Dudley, NC. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing mill equipment to maximize uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of industrial mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or related environment.
• Experience with bearings, chains & sprockets, rigging, belts, and precise motor alignment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, and repairing industrial machinery for improved reliability and uptime.
• Performing periodic maintenance routines to identify and correct mechanical defects before they fail.
• Maintaining operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels.
• Working with operations to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Adhering to safety rules and wearing PPE as required.
• Coordinating to order parts as needed.
