Job summary

Weyerhaeuser Emerson plywood and veneer facility in Emerson, Arkansas is seeking an Industrial Millwright to repair, modify, install and maintain high‑tech manufacturing equipment. The role requires safety‑conscious work on industrial mechanical systems with rotating shift work.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of millwright experience in manufacturing. SAP/Maximo or CMMS experience is preferred.

Job description

Our Emerson Plywood and Veneer manufacturing in Emerson, Arkansas has an opportunity for an Industrial Millwright with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of mechanical equipment, process, and techniques to safely repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech manufacturing equipment.

The pay range for this role is $22-$36 per hour.

• Support of goals and objectives of the entire maintenance team
• Basic hydraulic, pneumatic and drivetrain trouble shooting

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Stable employment history
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in Industrial Millwright work in a manufacturing or industrial facility
• Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, to include weekends, and holidays as operating conditions require
• A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations
• Good working knowledge of industrial Maintenance issues
• Commitment to follow all unit maintenance practices
• A team player who is committed to quality work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment examination
• Must attach a resume to application detailing your education and work experience to be considered
• Commitment to wear all personal protective equipment
• Able to work in manufacturing environment to include climbing stairs and catwalks and the ability to work in extreme heat / cold

The Following Qualifications Are Preferred

• Vocational or technical school certificate in related area
• Experience with SAP, Maximo or other CMMS
