Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Quality Manager for Saint Francisville, LA to lead field QA/QC on industrial and commercial facilities. You will ensure contractor quality plans and ITPs are followed, coordinate audits, and drive NCR resolution while collaborating with construction teams.

Ideal candidates possess 10+ years in industrial construction QA/QC, strong reading of specs/drawings, and proficiency with Office 365.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in the Industrial Construction Field with QA/QC experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering specifications, documents, and drawings.
• Proficiency in Office 365 platforms such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or applicable on‑the‑job experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate field quality issues to stakeholders.
• Ensure ITPs and contractor quality plans are in place and compliant.
• Lead contractor quality audits on-site and in fabrication facilities.
• Manage Nonconformances and corrective actions.
• Assist in developing Construction Turn Over Package requirements.
