Job summary

Sibelco in Sarasota is seeking an Industrial Mechanic II to support maintenance of conveyors, elevators and sorting equipment. You will perform mechanical work, replace bearings and belts, and coordinate with mechanics across shifts.

Experience with lean manufacturing, electronics, PLCs, and glass processing is valued. The team offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Electronic experience preferred.
• Strong experience with mechanical conveyors.
• Glass processing knowledge a plus.
• PLC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical work including changing bearings, belts, and idler pulleys on trough-style conveyors
• Clean and replace pneumatic valves on optical sorting machines; maintain organized work area
• Communicate equipment issues with mechanics and supervisors across shifts
• Conduct PM and repairs on bucket elevators, screw conveyors, forklifts, front-end loaders, and sweepers
• Install facility machinery as needed

Your Impact in This Role
