Job summary

Idaho Forest Group is seeking a Training Specialist to develop, deliver, and manage technical training programs for maintenance personnel at the Grangeville facility. The role ensures maintenance teams have the knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sawmill equipment effectively.

The ideal candidate has strong industrial maintenance expertise, program development experience, and hands-on instruction skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Millwright certification or maintenance background.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety principles.
• Willingness to train on day, swing, and weekend shifts.
• Valid Driver’s License for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training for maintenance personnel.
• Manage and update the Maintenance Training Program.
• Coordinate vendor-provided training and ensure compliance.
• Support school and shop training programs as a SME.
• Maintain training records and reporting across the division.
• Assist in other duties as needed.
