Job summary

Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED and Vocational Technical school and 1-3 years of experience or equivalent education.
- Experience in welding, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, ammonia refrigeration and some building maintenance.
- Meat processing industry experience is desired but not required.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance on production machines following diagrams and manuals.
- Locates problems by observing equipment and using measuring tools.
- Maintains inventories of parts and supplies and expedites orders.
- Keeps work areas clean, safe, and orderly.
- Completes work orders promptly and updates PM/PSM programs.
