Element Resources in Forest City, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair industrial equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, welding, and mechanical work on pumps, conveyors, and piping, under supervision.

You will work safely and contribute to reliable plant operations. The ideal candidate has welding experience, strong mechanical aptitude, good communication, and the ability to plan workflow.

Qualifications

• High degree of welding experience and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to organize and plan workflow.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Certification in the use of the following mobile equipment (training will be provided if necessary): Crane, Forklift, Loader, Manlift.
• Must achieve passing score on pre-employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of all plant and mobile equipment.
• Communicate with Breaker, Refining, Maintenance, QA/lab, and other departments to ensure continual process.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, flue pipes, water lines, and hydraulic systems.
• Install, maintain and repair all piping in the facility.
• Install, maintain and repair valves, hoses, fittings, bearings, gauges and meters in facility.
• Weld and repair all metal units in facility.
• Fabricate equipment and parts.
