Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with external contractors.

Emphasis on compliance with cGMP and safety policies. Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, a high school diploma (an associate degree preferred), and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Preferred welding, fabrication and mechanical systems experience in food or regulated industries.
• Regulatory knowledge: food safety standards, cGMP, and safety practices.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage maintenance processes and follow procedures.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Comfort working in hot/cold/noisy environments, outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility issues.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules.
• Inspect and maintain facility systems and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and installations.
• Assist in the design, construction, and setup of machinery and production systems.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols and keep logs.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify facility needs.
• Maintain clean, safe workspaces and comply with training requirements.
