Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to inspect, repair, and maintain a range of manufacturing equipment. The role requires reading schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and operating CNC, milling, drill, and grinding tools.

You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, replace worn parts, and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently. Prerequisites include a high school diploma or equivalent, with associate degree or similar experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent, or six months to one year related experience.
• Ability to read safety and maintenance instructions and schematics.
• Capable of using a variety of hand tools and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Observe devices in operation to locate mechanical failures.
• Disassemble machines to access defective parts for replacement.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and wear.
• Repair or replace pumps, piping, valves, and cylinders.
• Setup and operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on equipment.
