Jimmy Jazz is seeking a Maintenance Millwright in Pittsfield, ME to install, maintain, and repair essential mill machinery. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, experience reading blueprints, and is comfortable welding and fabricating components as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and disassemble machinery per blueprints and specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Repair or replace parts using hand and power tools.
• Align and calibrate machinery and scanners to meet operational requirements.
• Weld and fabricate machine components as needed.
