Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking a skilled General Maintenance Technician with welding experience in Cincinnati, OH. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and fabrication across the facility, using MIG and Stick welding as needed.

Knowledge of blueprints and safety practices is essential, with focus on quality and efficiency. The role requires 1–2 years of welding experience, lockout/tagout training, and the ability to read production schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be trained in lock out tag out.
• Proficient 1-2 years of field experience using Stick and Mig welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders or production schedules.
• Knowledge of clean-up and disposing of spills properly.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work on buildings, equipment and facilities.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Conduct welding and metal fabrication using stick and Mig weld, air arc and torch as required.
• Repair and maintain structural components, handrails, gates, frames and equipment.
• Must have good fabricating skills, perform high-quality MIG and Stick welding in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Inspect, measure or test completed work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using measuring and testing devices and strength and structural integrity.
• Responsible for documenting all work for tracking in company equipment maintenance program.
