TALKE USA Inc. is seeking a Hybrid Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Welder to support maintenance, welding, fabrication, and repairs across our industrial facilities in Baytown, Texas.

The role emphasizes equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and safe, efficient repairs. The ideal candidate combines welding proficiency with mechanical troubleshooting, reads mechanical drawings, and can operate in a fast-paced environment while following strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of welding and mechanical maintenance/repair experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills in industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain manufacturing, processing, and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability and uptime.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and metal repair work as needed.
