As a Maintenance Technician, you'll keep the machinery running that produces some of the highest-quality aluminum coils in the Midwest and you'll have the autonomy and variety that skilled tradespeople crave.What You'll DoNo two days look the same. You'll work across a wide range of complex industrial equipment, including:Proactive and preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and machine reliabilityDiagnosing and repairing electronic circuits, relays, transformers, and other electrical componentsTroubleshooting PLCs and VFDsInstalling, maintaining, and repairing automatic controls, generating equipment, large switchboards, motors, rollers, and complex gear reducersReading and applying blueprints and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) for new construction and troubleshootingRigging and rebuilding machinery — assembly and disassembly of major componentsWorking safely in confined spaces and demanding industrial environmentsFollowing strict LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and safety procedures at all timesWhat We're Looking For3+ years of electro-mechanical experience in an industrial maintenance setting requiredStrong understanding of LOTO and general safety processesExperience with heavy industrial equipment (cranes, forklifts, presses, furnaces)Familiarity with PLCs and VFDsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsMachining experience a plusSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and think fast in a dynamic environmentStrong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skillsA team-player mindset with a commitment to quality workmanshipHours:5:45pm- 6am (2-2-3 rotating schedule)Why Skana?
