Job summary

Dover Corp in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing and facilities equipment. You will support production and drive continuous improvement through RCA using Dover methods.

Candidates should have experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and the ability to operate ladders and lifting devices. The role requires safety discipline and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–6 years verifiable experience in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or megatronics.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics.
• High school diploma; college or trade certificates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety-first methods to avoid injury, use PPE and follow LOTO rules.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from leadership and ops teams.
• Keep work areas clean and organized through proper housekeeping.
• Operate motorized equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts.
• Lubricate and oil machinery as needed to prevent wear.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and document it.
• Repair bearings, relays, switches, and gearboxes as needed.
• Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic/pneumatic lines and valves.
• Work from ladders/heights and perform required welding as needed.
• Complete maintenance and electrical repairs; log hours in CMMS.
• Assist in installation or relocation of machinery; ensure proper setup.
• Conduct root-cause analysis using Dover fast problem-solving methods.
