Job summary

Dover Corp. is seeking a Technician II - Industrial Mechanical in Richmond, VA, to perform hands-on maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery in a manufacturing setting. You will inspect facilities, work with schematics, and use a Fixx work order system to keep accurate records.

The role emphasizes mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagnostics, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years in Industrial Mechanical/Machinist.
2+ years in machine-based Industrial Electrical/Electronics.
Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to operate various Saws, drills, bench tools and hand tools.
Familiar with work order systems.

Responsibilities

Observe and inspect machinery and facilities and suggest procedural/structural changes.
Install, maintain, inspect, and repair machinery and equipment.
Install and repair electrical apparatus, transformers and components.
Locate parts/prices and complete purchase forms.
Use NEC, manuals, schematics, and blueprints to diagnose/repair equipment.
Diagnose/replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
Maintain maintenance records with Fixx system.
Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
Operate forklift or boom lift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
