Job summary

Dover’s Vehicle Service Group (VSG) in the United States is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of plant machinery and systems. You will work with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical subsystems to maintain production equipment and assist with facility upgrades.

Candidates should be able to read schematics, use tools safely, and document work in the CMMS. The role requires lifting, climbing, and occasional weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with related maintenance experience.
• Experience reading electrical/hydraulic/mechanical schematics and repairing equipment.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and document activities in CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety methods and wear required PPE to protect self and others.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from leadership and operations teams.
• Lubricate and oil machinery; replace bearings, relays, switches, gearboxes.
• Assist in installation and relocation of machinery; ensure proper setup.
