Job summary

Dover’s Vehicle Service Group (VSG) in Madison, IN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain manufacturing and facility equipment in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to downtime calls, document maintenance in CMMS, and support root-cause analysis using our problem-solving approach. This role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills and willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2–6 years in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or megatronics disciplines.
• Able to read electrical/hydraulic/mechanical schematics and troubleshoot equipment.
• College or trade degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain manufacturing and facility equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document it in CMMS.
• Repair bearings, relays, switches and gearboxes as needed.
• Install and maintain piping systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Work from ladders and at various heights; use safety equipment.
• Perform maintenance welding (electric arc or gas) as required.
• Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
