Job summary

Precision Aero Company in Troy, OH seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production machinery and facility equipment. This hands-on role supports reliable manufacturing operations through preventive maintenance, effective troubleshooting, and timely repairs.

You’ll bring at least four years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong hydraulic/pneumatic/mechanical skills, PLC/HVAC know-how, and the ability to read manuals and work orders.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems, PLCs, and HVAC.
• Understanding of VFDs, motor starters, overload protection, PLCs, and electrical circuits.
• Ability to read manuals and work orders.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose problems, repair parts, test equipment, and adjust as needed.
• Read manuals and work orders.
• Perform basic machining, plumbing, carpentry tasks.
• Use tools and PPE properly and report defects.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with other duties.
