Job summary

Branding Iron Holdings / Rochester Meat Company seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment, grinders, forming lines, freezers, and conveyors running safely and reliably.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, read schematics, and document work in the CMMS, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maintaining food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• 1+ years in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Technical program in Industrial Maintenance or related trade preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Effective English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and follow CMMS work orders.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools.
• Repair motors, conveyors, grinders, and packaging systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems including VFDs and PLCs.
• Read schematics and manuals to guide repairs.
• Install and adjust equipment as assigned.
• Document maintenance work and parts usage in CMMS.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and PPE.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and communicate status.
