Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia-Pacific company, is seeking Maintenance Technicians for the Jonesboro, AR facility. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment to support production operations.

The position involves a 30-day training period (Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with subsequent openings on night and day shifts. Candidates should have 3+ years in industrial maintenance and PLC experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent
• Experience with PLC control systems
• Proficiency with common computing devices and software

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and diagnose machinery and electrical systems; repair to restore operability
• Dismantle and install reconditioned or new parts
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machine components; install electrical apparatus
• Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate parts
• Welding or cutting of metal parts as needed
• Maintain building and plant infrastructure
• Plan and install plumbing for hydraulic/pneumatic systems; replace gauges/valves
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in a loud industrial environment
