Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all plant equipment. The role emphasizes reducing downtime and enhancing productivity while following safety policies and lock-out/tag-out procedures.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with PLC systems, and the ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Experience repairing mechanical, electrical (AC/DC), hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Capable of working with drawings and schematics.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to diagnose, repair, rebuild, replace systems on plant equipment.
• Increase productivity, reduce downtime and waste.
• Respond to machine downtime events with urgency.
• Complete in-house training for equipment maintenance; may travel overnight for external training.
• Follow safety and lock-out tag-out procedures.
