Job summary
Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for Maintenance Technicians to join our Jonesboro, AR facility. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and structural systems to ensure continuous production.
Highlights include a 30-day training program, shifts on nights and days after training, and a pathway to skilled trades with opportunities to work with lathe, milling, welding, and plumbing systems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent mix of education/experience.
- Experience working with a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
- Experience with PLCs and automation controls.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect and test machinery, diagnose electrical problems, and perform repairs to safely return equipment to operation.
- Dismantle defective machinery and install reconditioned, new, or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other machinery parts; install/repair electrical components.
