Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Crafts professional in South Carolina. You will perform preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance across a variety of equipment, troubleshoot PLC/electromechanical systems, and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to keep production lines running smoothly.

Daily tasks include reading work orders, performing electrical and mechanical fabrication, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met while minimizing downtime and improving

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Trade School required.
• Ability to read work orders and manuals; follow complex instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and pass a respirator/OSHA respiratory test.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC, electronic and electromechanical systems and components.
• Read, interpret and program PLC controllers and languages.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Perform electrical/mechanical fabrication and alterations as needed.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluid levels and replace filters as required.
• Operate and maintain tools and measuring devices to support maintenance activities.
