Job summary

Software Placement Group is recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Technician in De Pere, WI. This direct-hire role offers a stable, team-oriented environment with a rotating 12-hour schedule designed to include six consecutive days off each month.

The successful candidate will perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on automated production machinery, work with AC/DC drives and PLCs, and participate in preventative maintenance while supporting a compliant, safe operation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree + 2 years electro-mechanical experience or 4+ years hands-on industrial machinery experience.
• Experience repairing AC/DC drives and working within industrial PLC environments.
• Work history showing a maximum of 2 employers in the past 5 years.
• Willingness to work a structured 12-Hour Rotating Shift including weekend coverage.
• Residence within 45 minutes commute of the Greater Green Bay, WI area.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, component overhauls, and emergency repairs on automated production machinery.
• Diagnose, calibrate, and resolve faults in motor drive systems and industrial power controls.
• Interface with industrial PLCs to trace logic, isolate errors, and clear line stoppages.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and ladder diagrams for safe equipment overhauls.
• Maintain clear communication during shift hand-offs and drive preventative maintenance routines.
• Travel occasionally for advanced technical training or regional collaboration.
