Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment and control systems (electrical, PLCs). Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve efficiency and capability; troubleshoot and document automation issues.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and communicating repair needs to plant leadership. Requires PLC experience (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), pumps, piping, reading schematics, and adherence

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
• General knowledge of PLC technology.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in production equipment.
• Pumps, piping, and associated maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with asphalt plant knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Familiar with motor starters, VFDs, circuits and panels.
• Pipe fitting and welding experience.
• Knowledge of steam boilers and thermal oil heaters.
• Industrial air compressors and pneumatic piping experience.
• Experience with arc welding and various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of equipment and adherence to checklists.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes to define problems and craft solutions.
• Communicate repair needs clearly to plant leadership; document issues.
• Work with vendors/contractors for parts pricing.
• Operate hand tools and diagnostics to support maintenance tasks.
• Be able to work with little supervision and adapt to shift schedules.
