Job summary

Walmart Dairy Plant in Fort Wayne, IN seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maximize uptime on high-speed processing equipment by performing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong 3-phase electrical troubleshooting, hands-on PLC experience, and a solid understanding of SQF/GMP food safety standards.

You will read schematics, lead inspections, and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

Two years of experience repairing/maintaining/diagnosing mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
Experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Industrial Maintenance Certification and related safety credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains electrical schematics, inspection procedures, technical documentation, and safety compliance standards.
Designs, deploys, and supports electrical systems, control panels, and cabinet architectures.
Demonstrates advanced expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical and mechanical equipment using drawings and manuals.
Leads electrical inspections, equipment evaluations, and preventive maintenance activities.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement processes and drive continuous improvement.
