Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. seeks an experienced maintenance technician to keep production equipment in safe, optimal condition and to monitor and troubleshoot PLC-driven systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment changes, and supporting training for shop staff. Applicants should have at least four years in manufacturing maintenance, with hydraulics, compressors, electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with hydraulics, screw compressors, mechanics, electrical systems and troubleshooting PLCs.
• Experience with robotics is a plus.
• Experience with large ammonia refrigeration systems would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment from blueprints, technical manuals, or vendor specifications.
• Oversee equipment changeovers as necessary.
• Notify management of potential equipment issues or abnormalities.
• Assist management in training manufacturing employees in proper equipment use.
