Job summary

Empire Livestock LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform planned and unplanned repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work with limited supervision while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems including PLC/HMI, supporting installation of new equipment, training operators, documenting work, and pursuing

Qualifications

• Requires 2–4 years of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or related experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
• Capable of independent maintenance and assisting on complex repairs.
• Must pass safety and GMP-like policies; communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Support installation of new equipment.
• Assist operators with training and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Document repairs and complete paperwork per SOPs.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with regulations.
• Stay up to date on new products and techniques.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
