Job summary

O'Neal Manufacturing Services is seeking an experienced technician to repair and maintain industrial machinery, wiring, and electrical fixtures in a factory setting. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory codes.

Strong mechanical and electrical skills plus PLC familiarity are required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with welding, pipefitting, and a range of testing equipment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Basic troubleshooting skills with ability to assist with repairs and diagnostics of advanced processing equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge and safe use of shop tools.
• Knowledge of predictive/preventive maintenance and pipefitting.
• Laser alignment and vibration monitoring knowledge is required.
• Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits using multimeters and scopes.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment in an industrial environment.
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring and fixtures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems using test equipment.
• Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at various levels.
• Rigging activities and safety-related functions, with forklift and high lift operation.
