Job summary

O'Neal Manufacturing Services (OMS) is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to repair and maintain industrial machinery in a safety-focused environment. The role involves electrical work, CNC familiarity, and routine preventative tasks across a variety of equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in manufacturing, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while following instructions.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Basic troubleshooting for advanced processing equipment and CNC systems.
• Mechanical knowledge with ability to diagnose and repair.
• Self-starter yet able to follow directions.
• Laser alignment and vibration monitoring knowledge.
• Predictive/preventive maintenance and pipefitting familiarity.
• Oxyacetylene torch work and welding proficiency.
• Safe and proficient use of shop tools (hand and power).
• Ability to work from ladders/scaffolds/roofs to install/repair electrical wiring.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on machinery in an industrial environment.
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring and fixtures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Plan and perform preventative maintenance through completion with documentation.
• Self-starter yet able to take orders as directed.
• Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes.
• Support safety and quality programs by following rules and processes.
