Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking an Electromechanic Journeyman to maintain process and facility equipment at our Burlington, WI site. The role starts at $40.56 per hour with future increases per the union agreement, and features a varied schedule.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read blueprints, and work with engineering and production teams to maximize uptime. The position requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work both

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in a production manufacturing environment.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude and good problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform electrical layouts.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ramsey Test clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance on production-related equipment.
• Ensure proper and safe operation of all production machine systems.
• Communicate with Plant Engineering Manager and supervisors to coordinate work.
• Troubleshoot and install mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems for uptime.
• Repair manufacturing equipment such as wrappers, mixers, and motors.
• Install control and distribution apparatus and connect power cables.
• Monitor equipment condition and ensure compliance with safety and environment standards.
