Ardagh Group in Bridgeton, NJ is seeking an Electrician to maintain all plant electrical systems. The role covers installations, repairs, inspections, and calibrations across machinery, with a $41.25 hourly rate.

The position requires a Journeyman Electrician, ability to read wiring diagrams, and experience with industrial controls. Rotating shifts ensure continuous production and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with industrial experience required.
• Experience with plant electrical systems, control panels, and wiring.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation drawings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, calibrate, and inspect electrical devices and circuits in the plant.
• Receive and interpret wiring diagrams to resolve electrical needs.
• Repair or replace motors, switches, and control panels in plant equipment.
• Plan work on energized circuits and ensure safe operation of production systems.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install fittings, fixtures, and wires.
• Connect all types of electrical equipment for new installations.
• Perform soldering on thermocouple and pyrometer systems as needed.
• Conduct inspections to meet standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain safety protocols and PPE usage, including environmental compliance.
• Respond to emergency repairs and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Plant Engineering, Supervisors, and production staff.
