Job summary

Watts Water in Franklin, NH is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across the manufacturing facility. The role requires PLC controls expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read blueprints to support production equipment.

The person will report to the Maintenance Manager, be onsite in Franklin, and work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on minimizing downtime and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship, or equivalent training required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing.
• Strong PLC controls and industrial automation experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing, inspections, troubleshooting, installation and repair of equipment and electrical systems.
• Maintain electrical contacts, circuit boards and related components.
• Ensure proper grounding and install outlets, lighting, switches and related devices.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on motors, conduits and wiring.
• Maintain logs documenting labor, materials, and equipment used in repairs.
• Calibrate and verify operation of instruments and control systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures and emergencies.
• Perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime on production equipment.
• Wire machinery and control panels per blueprints and specs.
• Assess equipment conditions and recommend repairs or upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal customers to resolve issues during troubleshooting.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies; perform other duties as needed.
