Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Franklin, NH, is seeking a Foundry Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on-site. You’ll triage issues, apply engineering knowledge, and ensure safe, reliable operation across manufacturing processes.

2nd or 3rd shift, with up to 10% travel for training. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in related fields, PLC programming skills, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
• Computer experience/operation and PLC programming are necessary.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and test/diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to interface with line operators and communicate clearly.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
• High degree of precision with minimum tolerances.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, safety practices and procedures.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment, including PLCs and drives.
• Plans and performs work with knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles and codes.
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment per safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advises operators on operation procedures and safety requirements.
• Keeps maintenance records and performs preventive maintenance as directed.
• Assists with technical troubleshooting and may train other maintenance personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
