Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to handle planned, unplanned, and preventive maintenance for equipment and systems essential to our industrial waste processing operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain safe, efficient production and ensure proper documentation and compliance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years in a heavy industrial environment, and ability to obtain MA 1C/2C Hoisting License.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years' experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Must possess or be able to quickly obtain MA 1C/2C Hoisting License.
• Must be flexible to work on call, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Effectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns of equipment and downtime.
• Utilize root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages with various teams.
• Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment and utility systems to minimize downtime and complete documentation.
• Use the plant's maintenance documentation program to open/close work orders and manage parts.
• Repair/maintain operating condition of industrial machinery including inspection, assembly, and replacement as needed.
• Observe and diagnose machinery malfunctions using mechanical tools.
• Review maintenance reports to plan and modify activities.
• Inspect machines for conformance with safety and performance standards.
