Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance across our industrial disposal processes. The role focuses on keeping equipment safe, reliable, and operating at peak efficiency.

You will investigate downtime using root-cause analysis, prioritize maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate records in our CMMS. This position requires flexibility for on-call and off-shift work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• MA 1C/2C Hoisting License or ability to obtain.
• Flexibility to work on call, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance per schedule to prevent breakdowns.
• Use root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages with teams.
• Prioritize work to minimize downtime and complete paperwork in CMMS.
• Open/close work orders and manage spare parts in the maintenance system.
• Inspect, repair, and replace machinery/equipment as needed.
