Job summary

Reworld Waste in Massachusetts seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to handle planned, unplanned and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment powering our disposal process. You’ll keep equipment safe, reliable and output-focused, working closely with operations to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include preventive tasks, root-cause analysis, prioritizing repairs, managing work orders in our CMMS, inspecting machines, and documenting maintenance performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment is required.
• MA 1C/2C Hoisting License or ability to obtain it is required.
• Must be flexible to work on call, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks per schedule to prevent breakdowns and downtime.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages with teams.
• Prioritize work to minimize downtime and complete paperwork in CMMS.
