Job summary

ONCALL Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Manager with installation, repair, upkeep, and preventative maintenance of industrial equipment and facility systems.

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems - 480V / 3-phase
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
General knowledge of equipment repair and preventive maintenance
OSHA safety requirements knowledge
Ability to follow Lockout/Tagout procedures
English communication proficiency
Safety-conscious and dependable
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Able to work effectively with others

Responsibilities

Maintain facility infrastructure and equipment readiness.
Perform and assist with preventative maintenance on machinery.
Troubleshoot and assist with repairs involving electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Assist with installation, repair, and upkeep of facility equipment.
Follow established maintenance procedures and LOTO procedures.
Maintain maintenance parts and inventory.
Help reduce downtime and improve uptime.
Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping.
Safely operate forklifts, manlifts, and related equipment.
Assist with fabrication, welding, plumbing, and other tasks.
Follow all safety procedures.
