Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in New York's distribution center seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of conveyors and related equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility systems, following PM schedules and recording work in the asset management system.

Qualifications include an associate's degree or technical certificate, 3-5 years' experience, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, and PLCs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in mechanical/electrical field.
• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
• Reading electrical/mechanical drawings/specifications.
• Safety-focused with OSHA/LOTO knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including LOTO and OSHA standards.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance.
• Work with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Take on other duties to support DC operations.
