Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in the distribution center seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment including conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics. You will follow PM standards, document work, and collaborate with outside vendors.

This role requires 3–5 years of related experience, an associate degree or technical certificate, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Workplace safety and LOTO procedures are mandatory, with a Tuesday–Friday 5:30p–3:30a

Qualifications

Associate's degree required or equivalent.
2-year vocational certificate in mechanical or electrical field.
3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
Proficiency in welding, burning, cutting.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, and PLCs.
Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
Familiar with DC-specific software and equipment.
Stand/walk and lift up to 75 lbs; safety-first mindset.
Experience with LOTO.

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety requirements per OSHA, LOTO and safe practices.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems; follow PM standards and document work.
Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
Train junior technicians to elevate performance levels.
Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects in DCs safely and timely.
Take on other duties as needed to support DC operations.
