Job summary

ATS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our industrial maintenance team in the United States. The role focuses on mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance to keep factories running efficiently.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues, perform repairs, and update CMMS records while adhering to safety and 5S standards. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Operates multiple machining operations and may perform welding tasks.
• Follows 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Updates CMMS history and participates in CI activities.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Provides assistance to lower level technicians and supports small teams.
