Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our Kent, WA facility. This on-site role maintains plant equipment to minimize downtime, supports safety projects, and ensures production readiness.

With 3+ years in industrial maintenance and experience with CNC/laser equipment, hydraulics, and PLCs, you will repair, install, and improve equipment while upholding safety guidelines and governance policies.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Experience with CNC punching machines, lasers, forming presses, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to troubleshoot PLC programming with RSLogix.
Experience reading electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair on machinery and equipment as well as building structures.
Repair, maintain, troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
Install new equipment, ensuring production readiness and safety compliance.
Perform basic electrical work.
Support safety and improvement projects and after-hours guidance.
