Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in Tennessee is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facilities.

You will diagnose problems with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, as well as PLCs, and maintain equipment to keep production running. The candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of related maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience in a maintenance mechanic function.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose root cause of problems in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform routine, predictive and preventive maintenance on all machinery.
• Operate man lifts and forklifts and manage heavy parts.
• Identify parts and coordinate repairs to ensure continuous production.
• Coordinate maintenance of parts inventory with MRO and purchasing.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as needed.
