Job summary

TenCate Americas is seeking a Maintenance Specialist 1-5 to install, analyze, maintain and repair production equipment in a non-temperature-controlled onsite facility in Tennessee. You will work with production and manufacturing engineering to meet maintenance requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electronics/electrical maintenance preferred.
• Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Effective problem identification skills.
• 5 years' experience in industrial multi-craft maintenance and electronics repair preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic pneumatics preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Self-starter with minimal supervision and responsibility for attaining all standards.
• Uses independent judgement in diagnosing, planning, repairing and maintaining all equipment.
• Competent to effect machine and electrical repairs.
• Reads and understands blueprints, ladder logic, schematics and specs to effect repairs.
• Reads manuals to perform repairs and calibrations.
• Uses precision instruments and PLC terminals as needed.
• Trains others as required.
• Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor/Lead.
