Rehrig Pacific Company in Lincolnton, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep forklifts, conveyors, and plant equipment running smoothly.

You’ll own the upkeep system, track work orders, perform repairs, and support LEAN improvements while prioritizing safety.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs; travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical skills with forklifts, conveyors, dock doors, and more.
• Welding and metal fabrication expertise.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Great communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Knowledge of LEAN and 5S practices is a plus.
• Tech-savvy with MS Word, Excel, and web-based systems.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the Upkeep system: Track work orders, schedule repairs, and manage parts.
• Keep our equipment alive and kicking: From forklifts to conveyors, inspect, repair, install.
• Champion facility upkeep: ensure plant stays clean, organized, production-ready.
• Lead with safety: follow OSHA standards and company protocols to keep everyone safe.
• Collaborate and innovate: LEAN improvements and special projects.
• Operate forklifts: Safely and efficiently (we’ll train and certify you!).
