Rehrig Pacific Company in Wilkes-Barre, PA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines and equipment running smoothly. You’ll own the Upkeep system, schedule repairs, and manage parts while maintaining a safe, organized facility.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical work, welding, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with leadership on Lean initiatives. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical skills with forklifts, conveyors, dock doors.
• Welding and metal fabrication expertise.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own the Upkeep system: Track work orders, schedule repairs, and manage parts.
• Keep equipment alive: Inspections, repairs, and installations for forklifts, conveyors.
• Champion facility upkeep: Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the plant.
• Lead with safety: Follow OSHA standards and company protocols.
• Collaborate on LEAN improvements and special projects.
• Operate forklifts: Safe operation; training will be provided.
