Job summary

Apex Geotech Drilling seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to safeguard equipment health across production lines and facility systems. You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and keep critical systems running smoothly to minimize downtime and ensure safety.

You will read schematics and manuals, support installation and commissioning of new machinery, and collaborate with Production and Operations

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, electrical, or related field preferred.
2+ years in industrial, manufacturing, facilities, or similar maintenance setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute scheduled preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment, building systems, and supporting infrastructure.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct routine inspections to detect wear, safety hazards, or reliability risks and report findings to the Maintenance Manager.
Respond to work orders and maintenance requests; record actions, parts, and labor in the CMMS.
Assist with installing, starting up, and commissioning new machinery, including mechanical assembly, alignment, basic wiring, and functional testing.
Interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and work instructions to plan and complete work accurately.
Operate tools, meters, forklifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment safely and per policy and regulation.
Maintain clean, safe workspaces; organize tools, parts, and consumables for efficient maintenance.
Identify reliability improvements to reduce downtime and optimize maintenance practices.
Coordinate repairs with Production and Operations to limit disruption.
