Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, Inc. in Concord, NC is seeking a maintenance technician to keep our industrial manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read diagrams and manuals, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure facility systems meet high standards of reliability. This role requires hands-on skills, knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, ability to read blueprints, and the stamina to work in challenging conditions.

Qualifications

• Forklift training and certification provided by the company.
• Maintenance experience of at least 5 years preferred.
• Welding skills preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to review basic machine blueprints.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic machine shop equipment.
• Lifting may be required with assistance provided if needed.
• Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Able to work under extreme conditions such as hot or cold temperatures, noise, dust and dirt.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building and grounds
• Constructs fixtures as required
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as scheduled
• Repairs facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds
• Removes and/or installs fixtures and equipment for safe, efficient operation
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair
• Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance equipment, tools, and fixtures
